Do you know why I love this series and Mia so much… “that ya would not hate her so much now if ya didn’t love her so much then. And there is such a thin veil between love and hate, me boy. As wispy as the mist on an Irish mornin’.” …This is why! She writes the sweetest love ever but it is not just sweet love. The battle to get to that love is hard fought and full of angst and heartache. 
Revenge will eat you alive and spit you out if you are not careful. When beautiful turns ugly and doubt filters in, heartache will prevail. 
Ramsay and Lydia were young, innocent and a magical moment was soured by hate. Fast forward and Brogan Ramsay is nothing like the naive boy he once was. He will never be that boy again. He is a strong Irish man that has built his way from nothing, and his mind is set on payback. But the past is never truly dead, and sometimes what we love the most is what we think we hate.

The Irish dialect in this is fabulous. I love the accent and the words. It will take you on a journey of forgiveness. It will hold you in it’s pages and leave you questioning and gasping. A beautiful book from an amazing author!
