Holy crap this is the best duet I have ever read! Seriously I have read almost 1000 books and this is the best! The first book rocked me to my core and left me dying to get my hands on this one…then this one roped me in, kept me gasping but had me smiling a goofy grin the whole time. 

I love these characters! I loved living in this world and I could have lived here forever. Such an emotional journey, so much strength, so much love, agonizing decisions and just epic I swear there are not enough stars for this book. 

Charlotte and Porter face the darkness head on, they are thrown into an impossible situation that is just beyond anything I could ever imagine. Their growth and love will move you and capture your soul. 

Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.

Bullshit.

Words destroyed me.

“I’m sorry. She didn’t make it.”

“Daddy, he can’t breathe!”

“There’s nothing more we can do for your son.”
