One of the best book EVER! The Darkest Sunrise by Aly Martinez is 5 STARS of AMAZING!

Welcome to our blog tour stop for The Darkest Sunrise by Aly Martinez. It is the first book in a contemporary romance duet, and is it available to read for FREE on KindleUnlimited.

You can follow Aly’s newsletter for exclusive news about the duet.

I’m pretty sure that this duet will be my READ OF THE YEAR! Seriously y’all this is some of the best words I have ever read! Emotionally moving, heart wrenching, so many feels, so much swoonage, GAH I was all over the place but so addicted to these words!

5 Witchy Stars are not enough for my love of this book!

Heart wrenchingly deep and pure. I really just don’t have words right now. I’m hiding in the darkness where it’s safe. The light is too revealing. This story is epic, it’s unique and will leave you clinging to desperation for that HEA that just may not be there but you will not stop the ride, you can’t.

How would you survive? Could you survive either tragedy? Grief is a merry-go-round that you just can’t jump off of sometimes, it consumes you and eats away the sun until you are left with darkness and shadows. This is where Porter and Charlotte live.

Together they may be able to chase some shadows away and let some rays of light shine in. One small strip at a time.

This story will grab your heart and squeeze it in a vice until the last word then you will gasp and shake your leg while waiting for the next one. Best thing I have read in a while and I can’t wait to see where it goes.

Synopsis:

Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.

Whoever coined that phrase is a bald-faced liar. Words are often the sharpest weapon of all, triggering some of the most powerful emotions a human can experience.

“You’re pregnant.”

“It’s a boy.”

“Your son needs a heart transplant.”

Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never harm me.

Lies.

Syllables and letters may not be tangible, but they can still destroy your entire life faster than a bullet from a gun.

Two words—that was all it took to extinguish the sun from my sky.

“He’s gone.”

For ten years, the darkness consumed me.

In the end, it was four deep, gravelly words that gave me hope of another sunrise.

“Hi. I’m Porter Reese.”

AUTHOR INFORMATION:

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez now lives in South Carolina with her four young children.

Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys cheap wine, mystery leggings, and baked feta. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person.

She passes what little free time she has reading anything and everything she can get her hands on, preferably with a super-sized tumbler of wine by her side.
