I am so very addicted to these characters. I am lost in this world, a float on the sea right with them.

Pim is so frustratingly amazing. So broken but strong and determined.

Elder is the hidden darkness that you want to cheer for but fear of the unknown keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting for the depravity you see lurking in the shadows.

The push and pull. The restraint and control. Will this poor woman ever be able to heal and recover? Will she ever find peace? I think my brain has fractured right along with her. I want the whole story..no I need the whole story…my heart needs to know that she will find safety and not be someone’s toy.

Pepper weaves such an amazing world here. A world you don’t want to admit exist but you have to. I want to grab Pim, wrap her up and keep her safe. Show her that there is more to life than depravity, that there is goodness in the world. I want Elder to be the person that shows her that men can be good, to be her redemption. But I don’t think there will be a white knight here, I think it is just the lesser of the evil that will prevail. I can’t wait to get more…I must have more.

Pepper Winters wears many roles. Some of them include writer, reader, sometimes wife. She loves dark, taboo stories that twist with your head. The more tortured the hero, the better, and she constantly thinks up ways to break and fix her characters. Oh, and sex… her books have sex.
